Video Options
We create two types of funeral/memorial videos: a feature video to be played during the funeral service, or a background video that is played as guests arrive or after the service.
The video examples below illustrate the differences between a feature video and a background video.
Feature Video
This is the type of video that would have a dedicated 10-15 minute block during the funeral service.
Background Video
This is the type of video that would play as guests arrive at a funeral, or after the service. We have multiple variations of this type of video which can be seen on our portfolio page.
Feature Video or Background Video?
Feature videos are completely custom videos, while background videos are created using artificial intelligence (AI) to determine the best photo placement. This difference in editing time determines the cost, so feature videos will typically cost more than background videos.
Video Details
• Photos should feature the individual at various ages, doing different activities in life with friends and family.
• Video clips make a great addition as well, especially when there is speaking.
• With feature videos, each photo is shown for 5 seconds, 12 photos are shown each minute. Providing 120 photos (10 minutes worth) is recommended.
